Beatmup (BMU) is a fast growing community platform from and for active young beat makers. These backbone of BMU consists of beat makers ranging from people with studio (engineering) education and experience to self-thought autodidacts. This makes BMU the central platform for beat makers who seek guidance and knowledge to constantly improve and shape their skills.
It's our aim to bring beat makers, music producers, musicians, soft and hardware manufacturers and other interested audience in contact with each-other and bring them valuable information on new and future developments in electronic/computer generated music.
Electronic music production is the creation of modern music. Though the term encompasses all aspects of Electronic music, it is most commonly used to refer to the instrumental, non-lyrical aspects of music. This means that electronic music producers are the instrumentalists involved in a musical process. Modern electronic music production incorporates tools like samplers, sequencers, drum machines, synthesizers, turntables, and live instrumentation.
An electronic music instrumental work is casually referred to as a 'beat', and a electronic music producer creating these 'beats' are casually referred to as a beat-makers. However, in the studio, an electronic music producer may also function as a traditional music producer, being the person who is responsible for the final sound of a recording and/or production.
To facilitate, stimulate and continue this platform, Beat M Up has decided to go nationwide with their beat makers platform.
